Ken Stoesz, Lead Pastor
Ken has been married to his best friend, Shonet, for 16 years. They have three beautiful, energetic elementary aged children. He can relate to Charlie Chaplin who said, “I’m for people, I can’t help it.” Ken loves people, is passionate about knowing Jesus, and telling others about Him. This fuels his work at Elmwood and has also led him to pursue deeper studies in urban dynamics and theology. Currently, he is working on a Master’s degree from Trinity Divinity School (Chicago). Before coming to Elmwood, Ken served as a missions leader with YWAM, a camp director with YFC and, most recently, as Community Outreach Pastor in Osborne Village. He loves hiking and canoeing and is one of those crazy guys cycling in the winter. His favourite authors include C.S. Lewis, Tim Keller, Charles Spurgeon, Henri Nouwen and D.A. Carson. Currently, he is reading “Miracles” by Eric Metaxas, “Prayer” by Tim Keller and “Expository Thoughts on Mark” by J.C. Ryle.
Marni Enns, Associate Pastor of Worship, Bookkeeper
Marni Enns has served Elmwood MB Church as Worship Pastor since 2001 and as Bookkeeper since 2012. Marni met her husband Rob at Elmwood and they have been married for 22 years and have three beautiful daughters. Having attended this church her entire life, she considers it an honour and privilege to be a part of shepherding others in the area of worship. Marni’s passion for music began at an early age when singing in church as a family was a regular occurrence. That passion has continued to grow beyond Elmwood, singing with the Winnipeg Singers, Canzona, and Encore Vocal Quartet.

He is currently studying ecclesiology and church history, looking forward to serving the church in whatever way God sees fit.
